The Continuing Legal Education Society of BC (CLEBC) is an organization that delivers online and face-to-face professional development to legal professionals.

The CLEBC 'Self Paced e-Learning' product is a platform that hosts a number of online courses that run in a video-quiz based format. Developed for Lawyers and legal professionals as an innovative alternative to completing professional development and training.

Video segments teach educational moments that are later quizzed. The interface features a timeline carousel to navigate across the course.

A multiple choice quiz question. The interface also includes related links and materials to help answer the question or further expand on the topic.

I was brought in midway through the project. The system had been undergoing development without properly defined specifications and still had significant indecision regarding features and functionality. I orientated myself with everything about the project, objectives, users, and interaction goals.

Appropriate design patterns and usability knowledge was applied to design the system flow and navigation. High-fidelity mockups of the interface were created to bring all stakeholders together in agreement and necessary to communicate in detail to remote developers, what was expected of the system.
